About this object
The photograph shows the damage caused by the 3 February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake to a wooden house situated on the top of Bluff Hill, Napier. The house belongs to the Geddis family who lived on Lighthouse Road. A white x on the image marks the house. There has been a landslide on Bluff Hill. A caption underneath the photograph reads: Bluff Hill, Note Gedde's [sic] house.
