About this object
The photograph shows the damage caused by the 3 February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake to a wooden house on Shakespeare Road, Napier. The earth from the hill has slipped and the debris has covered the house below. Ernest Sinclair has written underneath the photograph: Dwellings. Shakespeare Road. A bit of a Landslide.
