About this object
The photograph shows the damage caused by the 3 February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake to two brick houses in Simla Terrace, Napier. The walls of the houses have completely collapsed. Ernest Sinclair has written underneath the photograph: Distant view. Brick houses - Simla Terrace.
