About this object
The photograph shows the damage caused by the 3 February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake to Dr Moore's private hospital on Marine Parade, Napier. The middle of the hospital has collapsed inwards. A twisted wrought iron bed can be seen near the bottom of the image. Ernest Sinclair has written underneath the photograph: Dr Moore's Private Hospital Marine Parade. Centre. Side view.
