About this object
The photograph has been taken from Napier hill looking out towards Cape Kidnappers. The Athenaeum is in the centre and has a white cross on the roof. The back of the Hawke's Bay Club can be seen on the left hand side. Ernest Sinclair has written below the photograph: X our headquarters. This refers to the building in which the Health Inspectors were located after the 3 February 1931 Hawke's Bay earthquake.
