About this object
The photograph shows a model of a Japanese village located at Ecault Convalescent Camp near Boulogne. The photograph is glued to a page in Leo Bestall's diary and album. Underneath the image he has written: Ecault Con Camp. Model Japanese village made by a Jap-Canadian (sic) patient. There is a man seated at the back to the village. He was probably the man who made the model village.
