The photograph shows a building in Albany. Under the verandah are standing New Zealand soldiers from H.M.N.Z.T. Maunganui. The photograph is glued to a page in Leo Bestall's diary and album. Underneath it he has written: Troops in Albany. Leo is one of the men at the end of the photograph.
