The photograph shows a ship in the Albany Harbour, Western Australia. The ship is unidentified but carried Australian troops during World War I. A group of men are standing on the foreshore and behind them is the ship. The photograph is glued to a page in Leo Bestall's diary and album. Underneath it he has written: Australian transport in Albany Harbour.
