Brief Description
The booklet titled: A Service of Intercession in Time of War was printed for use in the Diocese of Christchurch with the authority of the Bishop. 1914. The service has been arranged in three parts. The prayers involve: our sons who are gone forth from New Zealand to fight the battles of their country; for our soldiers and sailors; for those who suffer, the sick, and [those] in captivity, the wounded, the dying, the anxious and the bereaved; for Chaplains, Doctors and Nurses.
