About this object
The photograph shows Napier Hospital situated on Napier Hill. On the extreme right is the original hospital, on the left is a two-storey brick building which is part of the hospital and next to that are the isolation wards. The people walking along the road are dressed in Edwardian clothing.

Date, unknown but could be between 1900 - 1910.
On the back is printed Post Card and below it a note addressed to Dear Rose from Jess. In the note Jess describes the sea voyage up to Napier. She and her family have moved to Napier and live not far from the hospital. The boys have started school.
There is no date given.
