a. The letter is addressed to my Reverend Anthony Spur Webb and Maria (Patty) Webb, Stockingford Vicarage from Joseph and Anna Neal and Emma Wilson. The writers, in the name of the teachers and a few friends, have gifted the Reverend and his wife a cow, which they will find in their cowshed, as a mark of esteem for their past labourers. The letter continues on in a very religious manner. The cow is named Dorothy.
