Brief Description
a. The reference is written on behalf of Miss (Mary) Webb from R R Groom, Chairman, Ormondville School Committee.
In the reference R R Groom records that Miss Webb has taught at Ormondville School for several years and has carried out her duties entirely to the satisfaction of the School Committee and School Inspector. The School Inspector recorded in the school logbook that Miss Webb was a very painstaking teacher and the children have made very satisfactory progress in their studies under her charge. R R Groom closes with the comment that if she were to leave the school it would be regretted by the School Committee and the children. The reference is dated 7 July 1892.
