Brief Description
The letter is written to Mrs Webb, Ormondville from Mrs E Smith, Atherstone, England, 27 September 1910.

In the letter Mrs E Smith thanks Mrs Webb for the trouble she has taken on the family's behalf regarding their moving to New Zealand. They will sail in early December, possibly to the Port of Napier, but will let her know nearer the time. She also thanks Mrs Webb for her advice about finding work for her sons (who are good ploughers and milkers) and daughters who have never been into service but are thoroughly domesticated. If Mrs Webb knows of a good family who wishes to employ a servant or servants she would appreciate it if she mentions her daughters. Clara, one of her daughters, will require a post as an assistant teacher.
