About this object
On the front of the photograph is written: Scene between Ormondville - Makotuku, 3362. Wilsons. A railway viaduct crosses a river in the middle distance. Cattle can be seen grazing by the river.
Edith Webb has written a note on the back addressed to: Mrs E Webb, The Vicarage, Prebbleton, Christchurch. The note reads: Love and good wishes for Xmas from Edith. Hope the rheumatism is now gone.
There is a half penny stamp attached to the top right hand corner on the back with the date stamp: Ormondville. The date is illegible.
