The photograph is of the Anglican Church at Makotuku in southern Hawke's Bay. On the back of the postcard is a note that is addressed to the Reverend E (Edmond) Webb, Prebbleton and reads: Makotuku Church. Best wishes for the New Year. A F W (Alice Frances Webb). It has a 1/½d postage stamp attached to the back with a stamp that reads: Ormondville. 23 December 1918.
