Brief Description
a. The diary belonged to Alice F Webb. The diary is divided into two sections. The first section contains a list of 1904 receipts; the second section is titled: Ripley Farm Diary and dates from 1 April 1912 - 31 May 1916. There is a gap in dates and the diary continues from 1922 - 1924. In the middle of the book is the Todlaw Farm Accounts and Diary and dates from 1 May 1931 - 31 May 1936. The entry for each day is usually only one line in length and describes what is happening on the farm, what people are doing, the weather and church services. Both farms are located very near to Ormondville. Annie and Edith Webb are mentioned in the diaries.
