Brief Description
a. The author of the diary is difficult to decipher however it would be a member of the Webb family. Glued into the pages are newspaper cuttings. On the first page is pasted a pattern for knitting Soldiers' Sox. The diary has been mainly used for financial jottings. Date, 1912.
b. A handwritten note regarding tuition costs. Addressed to Mrs Webb from M R Prebble.
c. A handwritten account from V Hartnell for Miss E Webb's music lessons, 1917-1919.
d. A handwritten list of names, possibly from Te Wai Pounamu College.
e. An account for Te Wai Pounamu College, 1 May 1921 - 18 October 1923.
f. Order of Service, 1910 for Parochial District of Courtenay.
g. A manuscript written in Maori titled: Kinga Iwi Katoa o Ngai-Tahu me Ngati-Mamoe, me te Waipounamu katoa.
h. A note with: Rifle G Webb D Coy, 13 Platoon, 3 Battalion written on it.
i. Newspaper cutting titled: Tuahiwi Hui, Rangiora.
j. Newspaper cutting titled: latest wills and bequests.
