On the back of the mount is written: This grave has been there since 1885, it's occupant is Alexander Alexander and the stone top bears the inscription 'He was a man Horatia'. Note the Māori painting on the underside of the roof. Photo by L B Bestall. A grave on the road from Napier to Puketapu.
