Letter and envelope from Hardie Martin to his parents in Napier dated 2 February 1968.

a) Hardie writes about getting over his illness, staying in hospital for a few more days, being unable to play a tape sent to him from home, receiving a cake from Mrs Cook, hospital food and being in British rationing, talking to local padre, a nurse in the hospital and getting another 5 days in hospital the day after.

b) Envelope addressed to Mr and Mrs M R Martin, 8 Ellison Street, Napier, New Zealand. Includes an Air Mail stamp, Malaysian post office stamp, Malaysian postal stamp and Hardie Martin's details on reverse. Written on Air Mail envelope.
