Brief Description
a. The U.F.B.A. (United Fire Brigades' Association) Spit Fire Brigade roll book covers the dates 1959 - 1969. The roll book records the name of the fireman, the date he/she joined, the number of previous musters, each meeting or muster they attended and a total muster.
The following were found loose in the roll book:
b. A list of fireman's names beside which are financial notes.
c. A handwritten list of fireman's names beside which are the number of musters they attended.
d. Envelope stamped with United Fire Brigade and addressed to Mr H Sweeney, Secretary Fire Brigade, Spit, Napier.
e. Six blank certificates for the joining of firemen or women to the United Fire Brigades' Association.
