Brief Description
The programme is titled: The Opera Maritana. The opera was performed under the direction of the Napier Thirty Thousand Club in aid of Māori Art in the New Hukarere School Chapel. The programme lists the performers, the orchestra and the chorus. Alongside the programme is a complete transcription of the opera. Interspersed throughout the booklet are advertisements from businesses in Napier. The performances were given between 1 - 4 September 1928.
