About this object
Acrylic painting of an Art Deco-style woman leaping over flames while holding two torches. Below her are two figures dressed in white - a women holding a cigarette, and a man holding a glass of wine. Two kereru fly beside her, and to the left is a tree fern. Art deco motifs are depicted in each corner of the work.

The work is from the artist's Deco series, and was painted for Napier and exhibited at Statements Gallery, Napier circa 2002.
