Brief Description
The teaching card is in the form of a letter to: My dear little friend, from Brown Owl. It is dated 28 July 1924. Underneath the letter are instructions addressed to the student about how to write a letter. The aim of the card was to teach grammar and the composition of sentences. The card originally belonged to Margaret Rona Gillies who was a teacher at Turiroa Primary School, Wairoa in 1928 - 1930.
