Brief Description
The author of the diary is difficult to decipher. She is possibly either Dora or Mary Webb, both of whom are the daughters of Anthony Spur and Maria (Patty) Webb. Patty, whom the author describes as mother, is written about almost every day in regards to her health. Edith, Annie, Alice and Edmond are mentioned in the diary in the third person. The author writes about social events in Ormondville and surrounds, attending Anglican church services, household chores and the weather.
