a) Bernard writes about returning to hospital with influenza, receiving parcels from home and Ray away in the Pacific Theatre. Letter is addressed to Mrs P J Madden, 21 Macdonald Street, Napier, Hawke's Bay. Includes a censor's stamp, postal stamp and date stamp.
b) Envelope is entitled: On His Majesty's Service/Airgraph Message/New Zealand Post Office.
