Brief Description
Airmail letter and envelope from Bernard Madden to his family in Napier dated 14 December 1943.

a) Bernard writes about receiving mail from home, wishing Louisa and Nookie well after being sick, updates on Dick, O'Rourke and Bill, the Division not seeing much action and promises to detail trips around Italy in the next letter.

Addressed to Mrs P J Madden, 21 Macdonald Street, Napier, Hawke's Bay. Includes a censor's stamp, mail number stamp and date stamp.

b) Envelope is entitled: On His Majesty's Service/Airgraph Message/New Zealand Post Office.
