Brief Description
Letter from Bernard Madden to his family in Napier dated 27 May 1943.

Bernard writes about rumours circulating about where the unit is to be sent next, his fifth week in hospital, events at the hospital, possibly taking a trip to Port Said or Somalia for an outing, sending Moira beads he has held on to for nearly a year, having to replace lost gear, two nurses and other individuals from Napier at the hospital he is quartered in, possibly taking a trip to Palestine when leave is due, individuals receiving home leave and weather in the region.
