Brief Description
Letter from Bernard Madden to his family in Napier dated 14 February 1943.

a) Bernard writes about weather in the region, arrival of a cake in a parcel from home, receiving mail from his mother and Batt O'Rourke, the reason for not sending Pat letters, his first sergeant, Dougald McKenzie, who was wounded in Libya is now working in Napier for the Borough Council Reserves Department and Bill leaving for a trip to Tripoli.

b) Envelope is addressed to Mrs P J Madden, 21 Macdonald Street, Napier. Includes a censor's stamps and postage stamp. Signed by Bernard Madden acknowledging terms of sending post.
