Brief Description
Letter from Bernard Madden to his family in Napier dated 29 November 1942.

a) Bernard writes about Bill sewing on stripes to his battle dress in a hut the two share, frequent drills and route marches, games of football, receiving mail and parcels from New Zealand, wondering about what Christmas presents to buy the family, asking after individuals back home and sends well wishes to the entire family.

b) Envelope is addressed to Mrs P J Madden, 21 Macdonald Street, Napier. Includes a censor's stamp and postage stamp.
