Letter and envelope from Bernard Madden to his family in Napier dated 26 July 1942.

a) Bernard writes about Napier soldiers missing the mail, still waiting for a discharge from hospital, again missing the trip to Jerusalem, losing Tom's pipe and well wishes for the family.

b) Envelope is addressed to Mrs P J Madden, 21 Macdonald Street, Napier, Hawke's Bay. Envelope has three censor's stamps, censor's label and a postage stamp. Signed by Bernard Madden in regards to conditions for sending post.
