Patrick writes from Italy where he is a prisoner of war in PG 52. Patrick lets everyone know he is in good health and is a prisoner, that mail from New Zealand takes a long time to arrive, what items to send to him in Italy and to send his regards to the family and men in his unit.
Written on paper entitled: Post di Prigioniero di guerra with the Italian crest on top left corner. Includes four postmarks; first is an Italian Military postmark dated 26 February 1942, the second an Italian postmark dated 2 March 1942, the third an Allied Forces one dated 27 April 1942, and an illegible postmark. Patrick lists his location as: Concetramento Per PG, Hut No 36, No 52, PM 3100, Italia.
