Bernard talks about the mail service slowing down, financial situation, the weather and return of pests to Egypt, meeting other individuals from home, a scheme to send POW's parcels and Bill's father being an air-raid warden.
Addressed to Mrs P J Madden, 21 Macdonald Street, Napier, Hawke's Bay. Written on Air Mail Letter Card. Includes a censor's stamp, postage stamp and 3 pence stamp.
