Airmail letter from Bernard Madden to his family in Napier dated 9 February 1942.
Bernard talks about the uncertainty of mail arriving at home, being posted back to his original unit, Bill being in good health, losing a bag of belongings that was posted back to base, receiving a parcel full of short bread and being able to claim any mail that may come in for Pat Madden.
Addressed to Mrs P J Madden, 21 Macdonald Street, Napier, Hawke's Bay. Written on Air Mail Letter Card. Includes a censor's stamp, postage stamp and 3 pence stamp.
