Brief Description
Letter from Bernard Madden to his family in Napier dated December 1941.

Bernard writes about living in the same area for the past few weeks, Bill Madden being promoted and sent off to fight with another unit, being shelled by German forces, the amount of equipment abandoned by German forces and how much of this was pocketed by his Unit, the Italians having poor morale and giving well wishes to the family for Christmas.
