Airmail letter from Bernard Madden to his family from Egypt dated 4 October 1941.
Bernard talks about how he is still in the same part of the desert but is expecting to meet Pat Madden and Gordon Madden next week, the arrival of a large shipment of mail from New Zealand, a visit to Cairo to buy Christmas gifts, asks after family members and says thanks for stamps sent by Ray. Postscript mentions censoring of last letter.
