Brief Description
Letter from Bernard Madden to his family from Trentham Military Camp. The letter is undated but it would have been written in 1941 as that was when Bernard attended Trentham Military Camp.
Bernard talks about injections and dental work at the camp, drill and inspections, issuing of gear, the layout of his unit (C Company) and Trentham military camp, rifle and grenade instruction, religion within the camp, transfer to A Company, food served at the camp and an alteration of address.
Written on National Patriotic Fund Board letterhead and listed as on active service.
