Map shows the Mangapohai, Mangapohai West, Runanga, Heruiwi, Tuatawhata, Ahikereru and Weao survey districts. Area shown lies between the Wheao and Wairoa Rivers with the Kaingaroa Forest to the northwest. Survey districts are sectioned into blocks with numbers.
References are to forest groups being warm, cool and dry or cool and moist. Also include boundaries of blocks and sections. Various notes throughout map areas. Includes an added, hand drawn section showing an extension to the north along the Wheao River.
