Brief Description
Scrapbook, titled H B A G M. The scrapbook contains newspaper cuttings, invitations, programmes and notices relating to the Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum, Napier, for the period February 1956 to 1957. The newspaper cuttings cover topics such as building works, new acquisitions, exhibitions and performances.
Included in the scrapbook is an invitation to the opening of the new north wing of the Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum on 9 June 1954, which features a print by E Mervyn Taylor on the front, and a catalogue for an exhibition of works by E Mervyn Taylor and R J Waghorn, held at the Hawke's Bay Art Gallery and Museum in June 1954.
