Memoranda attributed to Patrick Grant regarding information on forests in the Te Whaiti, Atuanui and Whirinaki areas.

a) Five copies of a memorandum from J E Henry to the Officer-in-Charge of the Forest Research Institute, Rotorua, entitled: Typing of Te Whaiti Sub-Unit. Includes two appendices for typing. Dated 12 September 1949.

b) Three copies of a memorandum from J E Henry to the Officer-in-Charge of the Forest Research Institute, Rotorua, entitled: Podocarp Growth - Te Whaiti. Dated 13 September 1949.

c) Three copies of a memorandum from Patrick Grant to the Officer-in-Charge of the Forest Research Institute, Whakarewarewa, entitled: Podocarp Experimental Project, SF 58 "Whirinaki". Includes an appendix showing tree number, DIE, age and average annual diameter.

d) Memorandum by Patrick Grant entitled: Growth Studies - Indigenous Forest Species SF 29, "Atuanui" North Auckland. Includes a chart detailing tree samples, site vegetation and site co-ordinates. Dated 28 August 1949.
