About this object
A photograph of a group of two men and six women thought to have been taken at Omatua in Rissington, Hawke's Bay. Three of the women are shown seated at spinning wheels. A fourth woman sits working at a small loom. A large spinning wheel is located immediately behind the group. The woman seated at the centre of the group is possibly Miss Anna Elizabeth Jerome Spencer.

A house, possibly Omatua Homestead, is visible on the left side of the photograph.

The photograph is housed in a scrapbook titled: History of Rissington Country Women's Institute.
