About this object
A photograph of the Ebbett family, thought to have been taken in 1924. The couple seated at the centre of the group is likely to be George Ebbett and his wife, Eliza Maud Ebbett (née Neal). The young woman and young man standing immediately behind them are thought to be their second daughter, Marjory Mary Wainhouse Ebbett, and their eldest son, James Harold Wainhouse Ebbett. Their eldest daughter, Dorothy Maud Wainhouse Rosenburg (née Ebbett), and their second son George Wainhouse Neal Ebbett, are possibly seated on the far right. The remainder of the family are unidentified.
The group pose for the photograph in a garden setting, possibly at the Ebbett family home in Hastings. A dog lies in the foreground. A second dog can be seen on the left.
Photographer, unknown.
