About this object
The postcard depicts a photograph captioned: the Man in the Moon is much too far. The photograph depicts two children in a hot air balloon. On the back of the card is a handwritten note from Evie McGregor, Opua Road, Opunake, to Wilfred Harding. Evie writes that she hopes he has not forgotten her and all the people at Opunake, and that he must be getting to become a big boy so she should no longer call him little. It is dated 20 September 1908.
