Brief Description
The postcard depicts an embossed painting of two grasped hands surrounded by flowers. Above the image are the words: As a token of Affectionate Regard, and below is printed a poem wishing the recipient Happy Christmas and a Glad New Year. On the back of the card is a handwritten note from N Smith to Mrs W Harding, Post Office, Akaroa wishing her a Happy Christmas. There is a green half penny stamp attached to the top right hand corner with a stamp date on it however it is difficult to decipher.
