Brief Description
The postcard depicts an embossed hand painted drawing of a motor car filled with pansies. Above it are the words: As time rolls on. Below the car is a poem. On the back of the card is a handwritten note from CC to Wilfred Harding. CC thanks Wilfred for the birthday card, records that he is seven years old and goes to school, which he does not like as he gets the cane. He asks if Wilfred is going to the exhibition. His mother is writing the letter and at the end she wishes Wilfred and his father the compliments of the season and asks if they have ever been in a motor car. In the top left hand corner is a red one penny stamp with the stamp date, 15 December 1913.
