Brief Description
The postcard depicts a hand coloured photograph of a Māori kuia sitting on a verandah smoking a pipe. Wrapped around her is a coloured blanket. On the bottom left is printed: Kapai te Torori! (Tobacco is good). On the back is a handwritten note to Mr W A Harding from an unidentified recipient in Methven. He/she wishes Mr Harding and Wilfred seasons greetings. There is a half penny green stamp glued to the top right hand corner. It is date stamped 24 December 1914.
