Group portrait taken at Omatua, Rissington, on 3 February 1942 on the occasion of the 21st anniversary celebrations of the Women's Institute in New Zealand. The women have been identified as follows:
Back row, from right to left: Miss Lillie Large, Miss Beatrice Alice Corrigan, Mrs Annie Carmichael, Miss May Peddle, Mrs A Simpson, Mrs J Walker, Mrs A Todd, Miss Phyllis Walker, Mrs J McLean, Miss Joyce McLean, Mrs Gretchen Absolom, Mrs G McLean, and Mrs [Marie?] Ewart.
Front row, from left to right: Mrs Barbara Absolom, Mrs A Walker, Mrs [Ella Isabell?] Howell, Miss Anna Elizabeth Jerome Spencer, Mrs Amy Hadfield Hutchinson, Mrs Annie Mulqueeny, and Mrs Woodward.
