Brief Description
Minute Book attributed to the Awatoto Country Women's Institute and Hawke’s Bay Orienteering Club with associated loose papers.
a) Minute book of the Awatoto Country Women's Institute. Records the Monthly Meetings for the period 12 April 1994 to 9 February 1999. The meetings cover the monthly events, activities and support given to the Awatoto community. The book also includes the minutes of the Annual General meetings from February 1995 to February 1999. Attendance records are located at the back of the book. The last entry in the book is dated April 2002. It records the disbanding of the Awatoto branch.
b) Colour photograph of a table. A sign in the photograph reads: VO’s table. A toy mouse dressed in a tuxedo is located on the table. This is possibly a mascot. Other items on the table include a raffle book and a green bag. The photograph was possibly taken at a meeting of the Awatoto Country Women's Institute.

The report covers activities and events undertaken during the year and support given to the Awatoto community. A Statement of Receipts and Expenditure for the year ending 29 February 1996 is attached to the back of the report. A handwritten note from Maureen James regarding the presentation of the report is attached to the front.
e) Manuscript. Orienteering sheet with a map of Bluff Hill published by Hawke’s Bay Orienteering Club. Dated, August 1982. There are some handwritten notes on the reverse regarding the 75th Jubilee of the Awatoto Country Women's Institute held 21 February 1996.
f) Manuscript. Handwritten copy of the Annual Report of the Awatoto Country Women's Institute for the year ending February 1986. The report covers activities and events undertaken during the year, and support given to the Awatoto community. The handwritten copy is accompanied by a typed copy (signed) and one carbon copy (unsigned).
