Brief Description
Group of manuscripts compiled by the Eskdale Country Women's Institute:

a) Manuscript, Minutes of a meeting of the Eskdale Country Women's Institute. A carbon copy is attached. Changes have been made to the original following the removal of the copy. Undated.

b) Manuscript, Minutes of a meeting of the Eskdale Country Women's Institute. The minutes discuss member’s interests and hobbies. A carbon copy is attached. Undated.

c) Manuscript, Annual Report of the Eskdale Country Women's Institute for the year ending 1998. The report covers activities and events undertaken during the year, and support given to the Napier community.

d) Programme of meetings of the Eskdale Country Women's Institute for the period April 1933 – September 1933. The programme outlines the agenda for each of the monthly meetings.

e) Manuscript, written by Jean Nichol titled: Eskdale CWI 21st Birthday. The manuscript, possibly written as a speech, discusses the history of the Eskdale Country Women's Institute and praises its founder, Mr F C Saunders, and the founder of the Country Women's Institute movement in New Zealand, Miss Anna Elizabeth Jerome Spencer. k) Postcard to Mrs Proctor, Napier, from A Conway. Dated Cornwall, 15 September. Postmarked: Plymouth Devon 16 September 1976. The postcard is printed with a photograph of Sandy Mouth Bay, Bude. A note on the back of the postcard regards the effect of the weather on local farmers.
