Manuscripts and maps related to Patrick Grant's research regarding Te Pohue Bush circa 1990.

a) Photocopy of a record showing a schedule of the Hawke's Bay Land District, specifically Te Pohui. Includes name, district, section, block, area, cash price, rental price and lease in perpetuity. Includes a description of the terrain and flora in the area. Issue is from the New Zealand Gazette, Volume II, page 1521, 1892.

b) Photocopy of a plan showing Block XVI of the Pohue Block. Includes handwritten names of trees in area.

c) Hand-copied plan showing an outline of bush along the Mohaka River as originally outline by Koch in 1874.

d) Hand-copied plan of the area around Te Haroto along the Esk River as originally outlined by Koch in April 1874. Includes overlay from Iggleden and Anderson in 1859. Includes reference number 5007A and 5000.

e) Manuscript by Patrick Grant entitled: Pohui (sic) and Ohurakura Bush. Includes an introduction, descriptions of Ohurakura Bush and Pohue Bush, history of the area and references.

f) Manuscript with notes on people and distances.
