The architectural plan is titled: Sketch for dwelling at Mt Herbert.
The plan shows the north elevation, west elevation and the ground plan. The plan of the house contains the following rooms: maid's sitting room and bedroom, nursery, bathroom, owner's bedroom, changing room, kitchen, pantry, china and linen cupboards, storeroom, hall, den, two spare rooms, laundry, rooms for fuel, boots and knives and garden tools, and verandahs.
